We aim to provide you with products of the highest quality and want you to love your products as much as we do. We understand that sometimes you may not be happy with what you've ordered, which is why we offer a 30 day returns policy.

Seachange Boating's return of goods policy accords with the Australian Consumer Law.

Terms and conditions

Returns and exchanges

  • If you have purchased an item online from Seachange Boating and the item is not as described, faulty, or different from a sample shown to you, you can return it to us within 30 days of the purchase date, as long as:
    • you provide satisfactory proof of purchase;
    • the item is still in saleable condition meaning it is unused and/or unworn, not damaged and is in its original packaging (in original condition) with all tags attached
  • You must complete the returns form and provide us with a receipt or tax invoice, your name, order number, email address and phone number.
  • Upon receipt of the returned item, our team will assess the item and notify you by email, and if approved, offer a refund or exchange on most items
  • Any refund of the purchase price will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase. Refunds can take up to 14 days. 
  • Please note, associated shipping costs on your order will not be refunded. On all orders over $150 you will incur a $10 restocking fee.
  • If you have not received your refund within the specified timeframe, first check with your bank or online payment service. If you still have not received your refund after 14 days, email us at support@scboutdoors.com.au 
  • Return shipping costs may be refunded as a credit on faulty items so long as you provide proof of the shipping amount. We offer a capped return shipping price of $15.
  • For an exchange, please enclose a self-addressed Australia Post satchel along with your returned item so we can post the exchanged item to you. We will not cover the cost of shipping for any exchanged items.
  • You will be responsible for the parcel until it has been delivered to us. If the parcel is lost or damaged, that is your liability and we are not required to provide a refund or new/replacement products.

Change of mind:

  • If you have changed your mind or if the incorrect size was ordered, we may offer you a refund or exchange, as long as:
    • the item is returned to us within 30 days of the purchase date;
    • you provide satisfactory proof of purchase;
    • the item is still in saleable condition meaning it is unused and/or unworn, not damaged and is in its original packaging (in original condition) with all tags attached
  • You must complete the returns form and provide us with a receipt or tax invoice, your name, order number, email address and phone number.
  • Upon receipt of the returned item, our team will assess the item and notify you by email, and if approved, offer a refund or exchange on most items
  • Return shipping costs will not be refunded under any circumstances except on faulty items (please see above).
  • For an exchange, please enclose a self-addressed Australia Post satchel along with your returned item so we can post the exchanged item to you. We will not cover the cost of delivery.

Return instructions:

  • Please complete the returns form.
  • The completed returns form will need to be printed and sent in the parcel with your items. If the completed returns form is not sent with the parcel, your return will be invalid.
  • The returned items must be in the original condition when sent to you; must not have been used, worn, damaged and must be in its original packaging with the original tags still attached.
  • Returns must be made within 30 days of the purchase date.

Can I return an item I purchased through one of your stockists?

  • Currently, only online purchases can be returned or exchanged to Seachange Boating directly.
  • If you wish to return a Seachange Boating item that you purchased through one of our stockists, please contact them directly.
 Your purchase will be subject to the stockist’s own returns policy.
